Description

Blank Gun Validation Testing is an optional onsite service available after purchasing devices. It gives your organization an opportunity to confirm how the Gunshot Detector and RASTA app respond in your facility through a controlled demonstration.

RASTA coordinates the schedule, test location, site requirements, and safety procedures with your organization. The demonstration uses blank ammunition only. No bullets or live rounds are fired. During the test, your team can observe the device detect the acoustic event and verify that authorized users receive the alert and location information through the app.

Blank Gun Validation Testing is available in select Michigan and Ohio communities, including Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Canton, Belleville, Wayne, Westland, Northville, Plymouth, Livonia, Saline, Milan, South Lyon, Romulus, Farmington Hills, Dearborn, Novi, Taylor, Garden City, Lincoln Park, Southfield, Detroit, Monroe, Brighton, Howell, Royal Oak, Troy, Warren, Sterling Heights, Pontiac, and Flint.

Service availability depends on location, scheduling, site requirements, and the type of service requested. Customers outside the listed service areas should contact RASTA to confirm on-site service availability.
