Delete Your RASTA Account

RASTA users can delete their account directly from inside the RASTA Android app.
This page explains how to delete your account and what data is deleted or retained.

Steps to Delete Your Account in the App

1. Open the RASTA app.
2. Log in to your account.
3. Go to the Account page.
4. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, or use the Delete Account button on the Account page.
5. Select Delete Account.
6. Read the confirmation messages carefully and confirm the deletion.

Data Deleted When You Delete Your Account

When your account is deleted, RASTA SENSE LLC deletes account-related records associated with your user account.

The deleted records may include:

• Your RASTA account record.
• Your saved payment method records.
• Your device-sharing permission records.
• Your pending device invitation records.
• Device records where you were the Primary User.

Data That May Be Retained

Some historical safety and event records may be retained after account deletion.
These records are retained only when they are connected to safety-related events,
such as gunshot detections, test events, false-alarm review, or event marking activity.

Retained historical event records may include event-time snapshots such as:

• Primary user contact information at the time of the event.
• Device location information at the time of the event.
• Event date and time.
• Device name and location information.
• Last event marker contact information, if an event was marked or reviewed.

These historical event records are retained because RASTA is a safety and emergency-alert system.
Event history may be needed for safety analysis, testing verification, false-alarm review,
customer support, legal compliance, or possible emergency or crime investigation.

Retained historical records are not used to keep the deleted account active.
A deleted user cannot log in, receive notifications, access devices, or restore the deleted account.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you cannot access the RASTA app, you may request account deletion by email.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your RASTA account.
